How cashback stacking works
Most e-commerce deals let you combine multiple discounts. A typical stack looks like: Bank offer → Coupon code → Store cashback. Each layer is applied sequentially on the reduced price from the previous step.
The order matters — a 10% bank offer with ₹1,500 cap applied first on ₹15,999 gives ₹1,500 off. A ₹200 coupon then applies on ₹14,499, not the original price.
Common stackable offers in India
- Bank card offers: 10% instant discount (capped at ₹1,000–₹2,000)
- Coupon codes: Flat ₹100–₹500 off on minimum cart value
- Exchange bonus: Extra ₹1,000–₹5,000 on trade-in
- Cashback portals: 2–8% routed through affiliate networks
- Credit card rewards: 1–5% as reward points on the transaction
Tips for maximum savings
- Always check if bank offers apply before or after coupons
- Some cashback is "up to" — check the cap carefully
- Cashback portals often exclude certain categories (phones, laptops)
- Reward points have varying redemption values — 1 point ≠ ₹1 always
